One of the Kamunabi’s highest-ranking members informed Uruha that the death of Kunishige was orchestrated by the nefarious organization known as Hishaku. In addition to taking possession of all the Enchanted Blades, Hishaku also mercilessly ended the life of Misaka, the contractor of the Cloud Gouger. Knowing that Hishaku’s ultimate goal was to eliminate all Enchanted Blade wielders, Kamunabi vowed to defend their lives at all costs.

While living a mundane existence at Kokugoku Sanzo, a natural hot spring in the northern Toyama Prefecture, Uruha discovered the seventh Enchanted Blade and the existence of Kunishige’s son. Despite this, the sorcerer was hesitant to believe that Kunishige, who had never shown any inclination towards caring for others, could have a child.

After revealing spoilers for chapter 47 of Kagurabachi, the story shifts back to the present. It has been three years since Kunishige’s death, and Uruha continues to live without any desire to carry on. However, when he hears a disturbance, he learns of Hishaku’s sudden assault at Kokugoku.

The Kamunabi elite sorcerers advise Uruha Yoji to flee. As he flees from his pursuers, Uruha believes he may need the protection of Azami or Hiyuki to feel safe. He heads towards the station and sees a few guards, leading him to believe that his situation is hopeless.

Despite the presence of numerous guards, Hakuri manages to arrive at the scene just in time. Uruha is skeptical about whether the boy can actually save him. Hakuri notices that Uruha is carrying a blade and asks about it. The sorcerer explains that it is just a regular blade for self-defense.

In chapter 47 of Kagurabachi, there are spoilers that lead into a flashback in which Chihiro tells Hakuri that a person can only possess one type of sorcery in their body. This means that when someone forms a life contract with a blade, they forfeit their original sorcery abilities.

Returning to the present, Hakuri is unable to demonstrate his abilities as he attempts to rescue Uruha from the Hishaku gang.

Uruha remembers a warning from one of the Kamunabi elite, stating that if he doesn’t make it out alive, he will be haunted. In the next panel, Uruha expertly uses his regular sword to defeat numerous guards. Hakuri is impressed by the sorcerer’s swordsmanship. However, as the reinforcements continue to pour in, Hakuri and Uruha are forced to board a bus.

Despite their initial surprise, they quickly become aware that the bus is surrounded by Hishaku guards. Uruha resigns himself to defeat, but to his surprise, Chihiro Rokuhira appears. He warmly greets Uruha and mentions that his father had spoken highly of him.

Chihiro successfully wipes out the Hishaku mobs and promises Uruha that both he and Hakuri will protect him. The sorcerer detects remnants of Kunishige’s presence in Chihiro. This marks the end of Kagurabachi chapter 47 spoilers, with Uruha Yoji ecstatically exclaiming and expressing his desire to continue fighting for Rokuhira.
