Kagurabachi Chapter 47 Highlights: Yoji Uruha’s Connection to Kunishige Rokuhira is Revealed

The Uruha chapter, chapter 47 of Kagurabachi, opens with a monologue from Yoji Uruha, the contracted possessor of the Enchanted Blade, Kumeyuri. It is disclosed that eighteen years prior, Kunishige Rokuhira had bestowed upon him the Kumeyuri sword to use in the Seitei War.

Uruha considered it the pinnacle of his life as he greatly admired Kunishige for his unwavering composure and determined gaze. As soon as the war ended, he willingly handed over the Enchanted Blades to Rokuhira. Interestingly, he did not hear about Kunishige again until 15 years later, when Kamunabi’s elite sorcerers informed him of his passing.

Upon discovering that the blacksmith’s death was orchestrated by a group known as Hishaku, he took action. After successfully eliminating Rokuhira, the group responsible for stealing all the Enchanted Blades and killing the bearer of Cloud Gouger, Misaka, Kamunabi employed its elite forces to safeguard the Enchanted Blade contractors. This was done in order to prevent Hishaku from using the stolen blades.

In Kagurabachi chapter 47, Yoji’s monologue continues as the sorcerer shares that he has been leading a purposeless existence, hidden from the public in the Kokugoku Fortress, a natural hot spring located in the Northern Toyama Prefecture.

One day, a Kamunabi sorcerer revealed to him the existence of the seventh Enchanted Blade and Kunishige’s son. Uruha was skeptical, as he couldn’t imagine Kunishige being responsible enough to care for a child.

In chapter 47 of Kagurabachi, it is revealed that Yoji’s will to live had been shattered upon discovering Kunishige’s death. After a long monologue, the chapter shifts back to the present where Yoji Uruha discovers the Hishaku’s invasion of the Kokugoku fortress.

The elite forces of the Kamunabi are struggling to defeat the assassins, as they possess powers similar to Enchanted Blades. In order to buy some time, they advise Yoji Uruha to flee. A sorcerer from the elite group instructs Yoji to make his way to Atago station, where they will contact headquarters for reinforcements to rescue him.

The events in Kagurabachi chapter 47 revolve around Yoji Uruha’s doubts about the new bodyguards’ ability to protect him. He believes that only warriors as skilled as Azami or Hiyuki would stand a chance against Hishaku’s deadly assassins. Despite searching the nearby stations, Uruha finds no trace of the enemy. However, his concerns are put to rest when Hakuri suddenly appears before him.

Kagurabachi Chapter 47: Hakuri and Chihiro’s Mission to Protect Uruha

In Kagurabachi chapter 47, the story follows Hakuri Sazanami as he finds Yoji Uruha due to his noticeable appearance. Uruha then requests for Hakuri’s insignia, which he presents. Despite this, the sorcerer remains skeptical about his own safety and questions the boy’s ability to protect him.

As the situation becomes more dire, he turns to Hakuri and asks if he can take care of them. At the same time, the young Sazanami sorcerer notices Yoji carrying a blade. Yoji, who used to be a user of Kumeyuri, explains that it is simply a normal sword for self-defense.

Continuing on, Kagurabachi chapter 47 takes us on a journey through a flashback, as Chihiro Rokuhira reveals to Hakuri his true worth. It is discovered that the average person possesses only one type of Spirit Energy, and even then, it is restricted in its potential. However, once they form an Eternal Contract with an Enchanted Blade, their innate sorcery is forfeited.

Basically, the individuals who hold the everlasting agreements for the Enchanted Blades are completely vulnerable without an Enchanted Blade or any form of sorcery at their disposal. This is why they must be heavily guarded. Returning to the present, Hakuri makes an effort to showcase Isou’s abilities.

Despite using his powers excessively in the Rakuzaichi, Hakuri is unable to maintain them and almost faints. Yoji Uruha is reminded by one of the Kamunabi elite sorcerers that he should continue living as they have sacrificed their lives to protect him. In chapter 47 of Kagurabachi, Yoji Uruha is seen wielding his blade to battle against four Hishaku assassins.

Despite using his hat as a distraction, the sorcerer still skillfully wields his blade to identify and exploit his opponents’ vulnerabilities. Despite his success in defeating the assassins with a regular blade, the sorcerer can’t shake the feeling that he has become less proficient.

Additionally, during his battle against the assassins, Uruha notices that they are not wielding the same weapons they had in the fortress. He questions if there is a limitation on their use. In any event, he and Hakuri successfully board the train, with a group of assassins in pursuit.

Despite Yoji and Hakuri’s realization that there are Hishaku members on the train, Uruha feels they are surrounded. However, Hakuri reassures him that it is not their allies, but rather the assassins, who are trapped.

In chapter 47 of Kagurabachi, Chihiro Rokuhira suddenly appears behind the Hishaku assassins like a shadow. Using his Enten blade, he envelops the surroundings with his Spirit Energy and eliminates the mobs with Kuro. Afterward, Chihiro meets Yoji and shares with him how his father frequently spoke highly of him.

The Enten user assures Yoji that he and Hakuri will act as his protectors and guarantee his safety. Yoji remembers hearing about Kunishige’s son and notices a striking resemblance between Chihiro and Kunishige, the sorcerer.

Upon witnessing Chihiro exhibiting traits of Kunishige, Yoji is filled with elation and lets out a triumphant yell. The 47th chapter of Kagurabachi concludes with Yoji Uruha declaring that he is once again prepared to battle for the sake of Rokuhira.
