Kagurabachi wins first award after less than a year

Kagurabachi, a manga by Takeru Hokazono that is serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump, has already received its first award less than a year since its publication.

Kagurabachi centers around Chihiro Rokuhira, a determined young man on a mission to retrieve the enchanted swords taken from his deceased father. The series made its debut on September 19, 2023 and has already been recognized with the esteemed Tsugimanga Award before even reaching its one year mark.

The award was determined by the number of votes, and Kagurabachi won by a significant margin. Fans from all over the globe cast their votes for this manga and praised it on various social media platforms. The official announcement of the results was made on August 28, 2024.

Kagurabachi dominated the Print Manga Category, securing a win by a significant margin with the support of over 100,000 fans from across the globe. The second spot was claimed by Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun: If Episode of Mafia with a respectable 33,000 votes.

Hokazono, the creator of Kagurabachi, expressed his gratitude in a tweet on his Twitter account. He stated, “I am overjoyed that many people have found my manga ‘interesting’.
