In a tearful broadcast, streamer Kai Cenat confirmed the allegations against his longtime cameraman ‘ChrisV’, who was accused of messaging a minor. Cenat cut all ties with ChrisV and strongly condemned the behavior.
On July 30, 2024, a 19-year-old individual, known as ‘uno2dolo’ on X (formerly Twitter), shared several screenshots before making their account private. These screenshots depicted their conversations with ChrisV, who, at the time of their exchange, stated to be 17 years old.
In a private message to Cenat, they claimed that Chris (your cameraman) is also a pedophile. They stated that he had asked for their age and they had lied, saying they were 19 because their friends had told them to. However, as soon as Chris DM’d them, they revealed their real age. They had expected him to stop responding at that point.
“As time went on, it became clear that he was being flirtatious and sending me provocative texts.”The screenshots that were leaked also revealed video messages from ChrisV.
After personally contacting the victim, Cenat verified that the contact information did, in fact, belong to his cameraman. He then proceeded to start his stream and address the scandal.

Cenat began, visibly distraught, “My schedule was completely different. I had planned for a full 8-10 hour stream. I don’t think I can handle much more.”
This situation is incredibly ridiculous. In 2021, my cameraman Chris was caught communicating with a 17-year-old minor.
Cenat angrily criticized his setup and then proceeded to gather more information about the situation. According to him, the girl had initially claimed to be 19 years old but later revealed that she was actually 17. He emphasized that at this point, he should have stopped texting and there was no excuse for his actions.
“I made contact with the individual and she thoroughly demonstrated everything to me. It has been verified. I am exhausted and frustrated with constantly having to handle tasks like this.”
Cenat strongly opposed ChrisV’s actions and raised concerns about the increasing frequency of similar scandals in recent times.
“I strongly disapprove of this behavior. How is this inappropriate content consistently appearing on a weekly basis? It’s concerning. I don’t understand why people aren’t recognizing their age and stopping. What is the purpose of this?”
After working alongside Cenat since the beginning of his streaming career, Cenat tearfully explained that he had no hesitation in parting ways with ChrisV.
“I am choosing not to align myself with him. I am ensuring that everything behind the scenes is being handled properly.”
Despite his many plans, Cenat has faced a series of controversies throughout the years. These include the notorious New York City riot incident, a leak of intimate photos, being forced out of his home shortly after moving in, and the 2023 crisis where his friend was accused of rape. Frustrated by the constant drama, the popular personality expressed his annoyance by stating, “It’s all just so f***ing annoying.”
“Every time I think I’m headed in the right direction, something goes wrong. I just want to relax and stream, it’s what I genuinely want to do.”
