Kai Cenat Announces LBA Season 2 Plans Following Basketball Retirement

Kai Cenat has recently shared exciting news regarding the upcoming second season of his Little Basketball Association (LBA), and he’s eager to bring more streamers into the fold.

At the close of September, curiosity surrounding Kai Cenat’s basketball-themed stream began to bubble. While some fans speculated it would revolve around his NBA 2K MyCareer mode, others were left guessing about its true nature.

Ultimately, he clarified that he was diving into the LBA, his very own league designed for kids, with the unique twist that he, as an adult, was allowed to play. After being drafted and facing skepticism from analysts about his abilities, he battled injury concerns but triumphed by clinching the inaugural championship with the New York Skyscrapers.

Following the proud moment of having his jersey retired, Kai humorously announced his ‘retirement’ from basketball to refocus on reclaiming his Twitch subscriber record from Ironmouse.

Nonetheless, the AMP star has hinted at the possibility of a second season. He remarked, “There are many individuals who are interested in having their sons participate. How do we draw attention to it? Picture this — in season two, I could have my own team, and FlightReacts could head up his own team,”Kai revealed during a recent stream.

The popular Twitch icon hinted that he might implement “one adult per team” or consider forming teams consisting solely of streamers.

“I’m contemplating launching a league specifically for streamers. A professional streamer league where the production quality will be unparalleled, and I’ll be selling tickets for around $1,”he added, showcasing his ambition.

While there have been several initiatives to create basketball-inspired competitions among content creators, such as the Creator League, which hosted 5v5 contests at Dream Con alongside one-on-one and 3v3 games, it seems Kai’s vision could surpass these efforts with his lofty production goals.
