Kai Cenat criticizes xQc for glazing Drake during Kendrick Lamar feud

Despite fans thinking otherwise, Kai Cenat criticized xQc for showing more support towards Drake than Kendrick Lamar in their ongoing rap feud. He also insisted that his opinion was not biased.

Despite the ongoing rap battle between rappers Drake and Kendrick Lamar, streamers Kai Cenat and xQc have also sparked a feud among themselves due to their differing reactions to the diss tracks being released.

On May 4, Twitch streamer xQc shared his thoughts on X by stating, “Drake cooked,”while also criticizing Kendrick’s “lame and boring”songs as a “snoozefest.”

During a subsequent stream, Kai Cenat criticized xQc for his support of Drake, accusing him of being biased and prioritizing his loyalty to the rapper from ‘Family Matters’. He emphasized this by stating that xQc had “glazed”Drake.

“I recently saw your tweet from two days ago where you mentioned glazing Drake,”Kai exclaimed. In response to Kai’s comments about his support for Drake, xQc then replied.

When xQc brought up Kai’s previous comments on a green screen, the streamer simply chuckled it off. “I think you guys misunderstood my point last time. But it’s okay, I won’t go over it again,”he said before playing one of Kendrick’s diss tracks.

Kai made it clear that he did not believe he was showing favoritism during the rap feud, even though his chat members disagreed. “I have remained impartial throughout this whole situation. I may listen to Drake and have a good relationship with him, but I have consistently acknowledged that K Dot is dominating at the moment,”Kai stated.

Kai’s name was even mentioned in Drake’s diss track ‘Push Ups’: “Beggin Kai Cenat, boy, you’re not beating us.”

Given Kai’s exaggerated reaction, it is not unexpected that his fans believe he shows more support for the rapper than Kendrick. His enthusiastic response of “Rewind the tune! I like this! I like this bruh! Oh my gosh, we got motion.”only adds to this perception.

Despite their history of disagreements, this is not the first time that the two streamers have clashed. In May 2023, xQc accused Kai of plagiarizing his camping concept during their streams. And just two months later, xQc harshly insulted Kai after a fan interaction went awry.

Despite appearing distant, the two streamers remain among the most well-known personalities on Twitch, similar to how Drake and Kendrick are the top artists in the music industry.
