Kai Cenat, the popular Twitch streamer, recently encountered an unexpected challenge while immersed in a Roblox game modeled after the global sensation, Squid Game. Surprisingly, he was banned from voice chat despite adhering to the rules he had just cautioned his fellow players about.
Often underestimated as merely a children’s platform, Roblox has evolved into a vibrant hub for creativity and innovation, allowing players to explore diverse gaming experiences. Among these, the immersive Squid Game recreations have caught the attention of many players, featuring iconic challenges such as the Red Light, Green Light, the perilous Glass Bridge, and the recently introduced Mingle game from Season 2.
Kai’s Reaction to the Roblox Ban
On January 5, during a live streaming session with fellow AMP group member Fanum, Kai chose to play the classic Dalgona candy game. As the excitement—and tension—mounted, he reminded his teammates: “Don’t curse, they’re gonna ban you gang!”
However, moments after issuing this warning while meticulously shaping his umbrella, Kai was met with an unexpected five-minute suspension from the game’s voice chat. This led to an explosive reaction as he expressed his frustration by banging on his desk. “How do you ban me for warning somebody? How you ban me for warning somebody? I warned them!” he exclaimed.

Fortunately for Kai, the suspension was brief, and he quickly returned to the game, diving back into the mix for several more rounds, including the engaging Mingle mode. Nonetheless, shortly after this incident, he shifted his focus to playing Grand Theft Auto and other titles, leaving fans to wonder whether he would revisit Roblox anytime soon.
