The Hardcore Minecraft stream of Kai Cenat and IShowSpeed has not been very successful, as they have had to bring in a therapist for motivation.
The collaboration was initially hinted at in April, when Kai announced that the YouTuber would be joining him for a marathon stream in New York. This time, they would be tackling Minecraft in hardcore mode.
Streaming for a total of 26 hours at the time of writing, Kai and Speed are determined to defeat the Ender Dragon before ending their stream. However, their progress was halted when Kai was killed by a fireball from a Blaze, causing them to restart for the 15th time.
ShowSpeed’s emotions overflowed as he experienced a breakdown, shedding tears out of frustration for having to start over from the beginning. He questioned how Kai could have made such a mistake. As tensions continued to escalate, the two decided to bring in a therapist for motivation.

In an effort to promote reconciliation, the therapist remained beside Kai and firmly stated that the two streamers “cannot continue playing this game in this manner” .
Kai swiftly retorted, accusing Speed of causing their problems in paradise. He stated, “No, he claimed that I intentionally died… Do you really think I have a desire to be on Minecraft, n****?”
The individual continued to explain that they hadn’t been able to shower because of Speed and had only gotten three hours of sleep. They once again pointed the blame at the YouTuber for their current situation, stating, “I only got three hours of sleep because of you!”
Speed replied, attempting to reassure Kai that they were both facing the same challenges and triumphs. “That’s why it angers me so much when I witness something messed up like that, because you lost your life over something so pointless.”
After shouting over each other, Kai finally leaned back, folded his arms, announced that he was “finished,”and warned that he would “completely lose it”at this moment.
Despite standing in the backdrop of Kai’s screen, the therapist did not intervene as viewers jokingly described him as “ready to leave”.
“As described by one person on social media, the streamers resembled a married couple on the brink of divorce. Another individual commented that not even a therapist could save them from their own destructive behavior.”
Despite many assuming that Kai and Speed would quit before defeating the final boss, they surprised everyone by successfully making it through the game.
