Kai Cenat Responds to Ironmouse’s Twitch Subscription Record and Aims to Reclaim His Title

Kai Cenat has officially reacted to Ironmouse surpassing his long-held Twitch subscriber record, and he’s already hinting at his plans to reclaim it.

Over the years, various Twitch streamers have claimed the title for the most subscribed channel. Notable names such as Ninja, Ludwig, Ibai, and Casimito have all found their way to the top at different times. However, it was Kai Cenat who truly took the lead, setting a new benchmark.

This popular AMP streamer shattered Ludwig’s record in March 2023 during an intense subathon, achieving an impressive total of 306,261 subscribers.

For a time, it seemed that this record would stand unchallenged. However, during her September 2024 subathon, Ironmouse managed to break it. The prominent Vtuber has received significant recognition from fellow streamers, including a nod of respect from Kai himself in a graphic shared on Twitter.

Nonetheless, it appears that Kai is determined to reclaim his title soon. “First things first, I don’t know if y’all know, but my sub record got broken today,” Kai stated during a post-match press conference for the Little Basketball Association.

“I want to go ahead and congratulate Ironmouse for breaking my record. Clap it up, clap it up. But look though, she really did that but I promised one thing to my supporters if that was broken. So, we’re gonna have to see what happens in the future.”

Despite his congrats, Kai’s promise indicates plans for another monumental subathon during which he’ll aim to reclaim the record.

Fans of the AMP star have pointed out that Ironmouse’s record-breaking subathon occurred during Twitch’s annual SUBtember, a month when subscriptions are notably cheaper than usual.

In any case, achieving over 307,000 subscribers is an extraordinary accomplishment, and Kai will need to elevate his strategy significantly to even approach that milestone, let alone surpass it.
