Twitch personality Kai Cenat has revealed that he declined an offer to collaborate with Kamala Harris, citing multiple stream requests from the Secret Service that he received.
During a livestream on August 7, Kai Cenat stated that he had been contacted by the Secret Service on multiple occasions regarding a Kamala Harris stream. However, he declined the offer as he expressed disinterest in politics.
“The Secret Service has called me five times and I have no knowledge or interest in politics!”the Twitch star exclaimed as he slammed the table, causing his camera to fall. “I’ll just say it – I don’t care. Is that clear?”
The streamer expressed frustration about a “bad b*tch”who had not contacted him in a year suddenly reaching out about the Kamala Harris presidential campaign. He exclaimed, “It’s been so long since I’ve talked to this girl, and now she has the nerve to text me saying ‘We need you to be a part of the campaign’.”

The 22-year-old was initially perplexed, assuming she was talking about a video game such as Modern Warfare or a clothing brand. “I was like, ‘What campaign?’”he explained.
Kai expressed that if for some reason he were to enter the world of streaming politics, he would remain completely transparent. He would use his platform to question why he was chosen for the role.
“The streamer chuckled and asked, “Do you understand what I mean?”He continued, “I have no experience with politics. These bloggers are pressuring me to take action, saying, ‘Come on, Kai, you have to do this.’ And it’s coming from all the major blogs. I’m just thinking, when did this become my responsibility?”
Despite the controversy surrounding his decision, Kai received support from many fans for choosing to stay out of politics. One Twitter/X user commented, “It may seem insane, but I admire him for keeping his political views private.”
