Kai Cenat’s Request for Bloodborne Remaster from Playstation

Kai Cenat has expressed his wish for his Bloodborne marathon to inspire Playstation to begin developing a remaster.

The popular Twitch streamer has returned with another marathon session, this time tackling the challenging FromSoftware game, Bloodborne. The marathon commenced on August 2 and will persist until Kai emerges victorious.

Despite its initial release being almost a decade ago, Kai expressed his desire for the stream to revitalize interest in Bloodborne and potentially lead to the creation of a sequel or remastered version.

Prior to starting his playthrough, he provided viewers with an explanation of his intentions for the stream and how it may motivate both Playstation and FromSoftware to take action.

Although he doubted his ability to pressure Playstation or FromSoftware into revisiting the game, Kai acknowledged his significant online influence.

The streamer confidently stated that he could easily draw attention to a topic within the Souls community, as demonstrated by his widely shared and influential Elden Ring marathon, which propelled Twitch charts.

In May 2024, Kai’s marathon of taking on The Lands Between captivated hundreds of thousands of viewers for a total of 166 hours. Since then, he has pledged to continue streaming every other FromSoft title, and it is clear that he is keeping this promise.

“Kai explained that the developers closely observed his gameplay of these games. In reaction, he intended to actively promote the storyline and make something significant occur.”

Afterwards, Kai directly addressed Playstation and FromSoftware, declaring, “There has been a constant demand for a remastered version and a PC release of this game.”

Although the streamer had not yet begun playing the game, he expressed his intention to strive for something right from the start as he joined the community. He also assured that he would revisit this topic again after completing Bloodborne.

Kai’s statement that the pressure from viewers for Playstation and FromSoftware to bring back Bloodborne was a “huge help”left audiences thrilled.

His “authentic” approach and “passion” for the games were also commended: “It’s incredibly refreshing to witness someone truly enjoying themselves, without any pretense or pressure to perform. He’s truly throwing a party and we’re all invited.”
