Kai Cenat’s Response to Elden Ring Difficulty Complaints

Kai Cenat, similar to most Elden Ring players, has been facing the horrors that FromSoftware has brought to life in the game’s sole major expansion.

Despite facing criticism since its launch on June 21, Shadow of the Erdtree has received ample praise for providing a challenging experience for seasoned Tarnished players familiar with the Lands Between.

Despite its proven history of producing extremely difficult games that have been well-received, the discussion surrounding the DLC has primarily centered on criticisms that the difficulty of Shadow of the Erdtree is too high.

In a video clip posted on X/Twitter, Cenat discussed the current controversy. In response to the complaint, the streamer jokingly stated, “It’s a matter of skill,”and then urged players to “step up and face their challenges head on.”

Cenat also expressed confusion over FromSoftware’s decision to release DLC for Elden Ring without making it more challenging than the base game. They questioned the purpose of creating additional content if it can be easily completed in a short amount of time.

Feedback on the clip has praised Cenat’s interpretation. One comment stated, “That’s right, people want an easy solution without putting in the effort. I’m still struggling with the Twin Moon boss, but this game has exceeded all my expectations.”

“Another person joked, “Even though Bro arrived late to the game, he is surpassing most players in this DLC.”They also stated, “Most of the people I know who are having a hard time are still finding enjoyment in this game, so what is all the complaining about?”

The independent Scadutree Blessing leveling system is utilized in Shadow of the Erdtree. It can be enhanced by locating Scadutree fragments scattered throughout the Shadow Realm, resulting in a significant impact on both inflicted and received damage.

In this unfamiliar land with the presence of Messmer the Impaler and Rellana, a single Scadutree boost could be the deciding factor between survival and demise. By not utilizing this system, players of Shadow of the Erdtree may unknowingly make their experience more challenging, resulting in potential grievances.
