Recap of Season 1

The first season, consisting of 39 chapters divided into three captivating arcs, ended on a cliffhanger as Kafka Hibino was taken into custody upon the revelation of his ability to transform into a Kaiju. He is currently being detained at a military prison, where he is expected to meet with high-ranking officials, including Isao Shinomiya, the Director General of the Defense Forces. Despite the tension between them, their conversation reveals some common ground, paving the way for an intense and intriguing second season.
