Kakashi Returning to Boruto: The Perfect Scenario for the Series

Ever since the Boruto: Two Blue Vortex manga was released, fans have been eagerly anticipating the release of each new chapter. Each installment brings about significant developments and the last two chapters were no exception. In one, Kurama made a triumphant return, while the other showcased Himawari’s ability to tap into Kurama’s chakra.

Although the manga has been consistently intriguing, there is one event that has been highly anticipated by fans – the comeback of Kakashi Hatake. Despite making an appearance in the Boruto anime, the Sixth Hokage is yet to make an appearance in the manga.

Considering the current circumstances in the series, it is highly likely that Kakashi’s return to Boruto at this point would create an ideal situation for the development of the story.

Please note: The Boruto manga is referenced in this article and may contain spoilers.

In a previous interview from 2019, manga artist Mikio Ikemoto was questioned about any Naruto character who had not yet appeared in the franchise. In reply, the artist brought up Kakashi Hatake’s absence in the series, possibly indicating that he may make a comeback in the future.

Keeping this in mind, it is highly likely that the Sixth Hokage may make his comeback in the Boruto: Two Blue Vortex manga. Interestingly, the God Trees’ attack on the Hidden Leaf Village could prove to be the opportune moment for his return.

Kakashi’s vast knowledge and mastery of jutsu made him the go-to character for testing the strength of unfamiliar opponents in both the original Naruto and Naruto Shippuden. With the Hidden Leaf Village now facing the enigmatic threat of Jura and Hidari, it is possible that Kakashi Hatake will make a return to the series and engage in battle against either of the two God Trees.

It is expected that this advancement will result in him utilizing his jutsu arsenal to combat his opponent and uncover the strengths and weaknesses of the God Trees.

As foreshadowed in the previous chapter of the manga, Himawari Uzumaki is slated to battle Jura in the upcoming installment. However, due to her inexperience with using Kurama’s chakra, she is likely to become quickly fatigued. In this scenario, the only other contenders who could face Jura are Kawaki and Delta. Unfortunately, Kawaki is no match for Jura as he is still recovering from his injuries. Therefore, it is highly probable that he would be defeated by the God Tree instead.

As a surprise, Kakashi Hatake may make a comeback in the series to face off against the God Tree Jura. This potential battle could result in Kakashi sacrificing himself to protect the Hidden Leaf Village, solidifying his legacy as a hero in Konoha. The recent hint from Mikio Ikemoto about Kakashi’s involvement in Boruto further supports this possibility, as it aligns with his selfless nature.

Alternatively, there is a slight possibility that in Sasuke’s absence, Kakashi may become Sarada Uchiha’s mentor. Due to Hidari’s formidable abilities, it is likely that Sarada may not emerge victorious in their battle, leading her to seek guidance from the former Hokage and the mastermind behind the Chidori technique. This could potentially result in Kakashi training Sarada to utilize her Mangekyo Sharingan.
