KamiErabi God.app season 2 is set to premiere on October 3, 2024, as confirmed by the anime’s official team on Wednesday, September 18, 2024, through the main promotional video. This brief clip also introduces a new cast member and reveals the theme songs for the season. Furthermore, a new key visual for the show has been officially unveiled.
The upcoming season of KamiErabi God.app is a continuation of the previous series, which featured 12 episodes airing from October 2023 to December 2023. This original anime series revolves around a battle royale format, where high school students compete for their survival. Importantly, this sequel is anticipated to be the final season of the franchise.
KamiErabi God.app Season 2’s Main Trailer Confirms the October 3, 2024 Release Date
On September 18, 2024, the official website and X account for KamiErabi God.app season 2 released the main trailer confirming that the series will premiere on October 3, 2024.
As for broadcast details, KamiErabi God.app season 2 will air its episodes every Thursday at 12:55 am JST on Fuji TV’s +Ultra Programming block, starting from October 3.
Following its broadcast, viewers in Japan will be able to stream the anime on digital platforms from October 3, 2024, at 12 pm JST. In the United States, Europe, Africa, CIS, and Oceania, Crunchyroll will stream the first season as it aired in Japan. Moreover, Line VOOM is set to stream the first season on September 27, 2024, at 6 pm JST.
Noteworthy is the latest promotional video which teases the storyline and introduces new characters that will join the sequel. The PV has also announced the anime’s opening theme song, titled Fuka (Weathering), performed by Nanashi no Taro, alongside the ending theme song, Kofuku no Susume (Advance For Happiness), sung by LEEVELLES.
Comments from the theme song artists are featured on the anime’s official site, where they express their excitement and encourage fans to enjoy their music. Additionally, the trailer introduces Misaki Kuno as a new cast member, lending her voice to Eko Sasaki, Lall’s elementary school friend, who is secretly investigating the 828 incident.
In her remarks on the website, Misaki Kuno shares her enthusiasm for portraying this character, mentioning that a new door of happiness opened for her upon reading the script for the first time.
The main key visual for KamiErabi God.app season 2 has also been revealed, highlighting key characters (Yutaka, Koki, and others) that will feature in the sequel.
The series is directed by Hiroyuki Seshita at UNEND, with JIN supervising the composition and scripts. Yoko Taro is credited as the original creator of the series, while Atsushi Ohkubo serves as the character designer. MONACA is tasked with composing the music.
As the previous season concluded with Goro’s mysterious disappearance, KamiErabi God.app season 2 will follow Lall, Goro’s younger sister, on her challenging journey to revive him. However, her task will be difficult as she is the only one who remembers Goro.
