Kang Daniel Joins Team WayV During ISAC’s Relay Race – K-Pop Fans in Frenzy

Have you witnessed the unexpected and heartwarming interactions between idols Kang Daniel and WayV at ISAC 2024? K-pop fans are in for a treat once again!

The advanced filming for the 2024 Idol Star Athletic Championships (ISAC) was held on August 5, in preparation for its broadcast in September.

The ISAC is a yearly event broadcasted by MBC during the Chuseok holiday, where K-pop idols come together to participate in a variety of sports competitions and categories.

This year, the fandoms of DANITYs (fans of Kang Daniel) and WayZenNies (fans of WayV) were sent into a frenzy when the group and the K-pop soloist unexpectedly interacted.

It was reported that WayV members Xiaojun, Ten, and YangYang were selected to participate in the 100m relay race. However, as each team is required to have four members, they will not be able to compete.

At that moment, the three individuals were spotted walking towards Kang Daniel, a former Wanna One member turned solo artist, and extended an invitation for him to join their team!

Despite being one of the MCs of the event and dressed in a suit, Kang willingly accepted the invitation, much to the excitement of the fans in the venue!

During the relay race, the four idols displayed impressive teamwork. Although Daniel struggled due to his unsuitable outfit, he still gave his all. Team WayV, who placed 4th, acknowledged his efforts and thanked him repeatedly.

Upon seeing Daniel fall while passing the baton to Ten, Xiaojun quickly rushed over to assist him to the safe side of the ground and ensure that he was not injured.

Following the race, Ten spoke briefly with the team and expressed his gratitude towards Daniel. He acknowledged that without Daniel, they would not have had the opportunity to compete. In response, Kang humbly bowed to the team as the WayZenNies loudly cheered for him.

After witnessing videos and photos of Kang Daniel x WayV crumbs, both fandoms expressed their sincere gratitude towards each other.

The WayZenNies expressed their gratitude to the male soloist for immediately agreeing without hesitation, with fans stressing the significance of this kind gesture for their beloved idols.
