On January 2, Star News reported that Kang Han-na has been officially added to the cast of tvN’s highly anticipated new drama, “The Tyrant’s Chef”.
Controversy Surrounding the Drama’s Lead
The production of “The Tyrant’s Chef”has already stirred up attention due to controversy involving its male lead, Park Sung-hoon. This controversy centers on his recent actions regarding explicit content related to Japanese adult videos (AV). On December 30, he inadvertently posted an explicit image that featured Japanese AV actors in costumes reminiscent of Netflix’s “Squid Game 2” , engaging in sexually suggestive acts on his social media account.
The controversial post displayed explicit imagery, including breasts and sexual poses, and although Park deleted the post roughly one minute after sharing, it had already been widely circulated among his followers.
Agency Explanation and Fan Reactions
Initially, the agency, BH Entertainment, claimed it was an accidental upload while Park was reviewing his direct messages. However, they later revised this explanation, admitting that he had saved the image intending to share it with company staff. Their inconsistent narratives have fueled frustration among fans, raising concerns about the actor’s judgment.
