Kang Ji-young shared a lengthy post on her social media on April 23rd, addressing a serious issue. She expressed her frustration and anger towards the rude behavior of the police towards an elderly lady.

Upon arriving at the police station to address an issue with her license, Kang Ji-young noticed an elderly woman at the counter next to her. The woman had come to renew her license and was being asked a series of questions, including whether she had undergone a medical examination and if her vision was above 0.8. The woman replied that her vision was below 0.8, to which the staff abruptly informed her that she could not renew her license that day and advised her to get glasses immediately. The woman appeared bewildered by the sudden turn of events.

Kang Ji-young expressed her disappointment, stating that the situation was particularly upsetting to her. She imagined if the woman in question was her own mother, and how her heart would ache if she witnessed her being treated poorly by an unfriendly and irritating employee who left her feeling helpless.

The female singer shared her frustration, stating that she was struggling to keep up with the fast-paced development and variety of technology, such as kiosks and applications. She felt angry witnessing an elderly woman being confused and embarrassed by these things. Thoughts like “She just doesn’t know what to do”and “You guys just have to explain it a little bit more detail”ran through her mind as she cried with trembling hands on her way back home.

Kang Ji-young also expressed her desire for a manual to be created with large letters in order to make it easier for elderly individuals to read and comprehend. She further remarked, “Some may question my authority to suggest this, but I am willing to lend my assistance in creating such a manual if it can be of any help.”
