Karmine Corp has made changes to its LEC roster for the Summer Split, adding former T1 and Dplus KIA top laner Canna and making other adjustments to the team.
Despite a disastrous start to its LEC tenure in the Summer Split, KCorp is determined to rebound and has added three new players to strengthen their squad. Despite finishing in 10th place in both the Winter and Spring split, the French organization missed out on the LEC playoff stage twice and the opportunity to qualify for MSI.
Karmine Corp revealed on May 2 that it had added three new members, Can ‘Closer’ Çelik, Vladimiros ‘Vladi’ Kourtidis, and Kim ‘Canna’ Chang-dong, to its roster.
Canna, who has been twice to the League of Legends World Championship, is considered the most significant addition among the trio, given his impressive performance as a top laner for both T1 and Dplus KIA in the LCK.

Since their underwhelming performance at Worlds 2023, the top laner has been without a team, having been released from Dplus KIA in late 2023. Prior to that, he had played for Nongshim RedForce during 2022.
In 2019, Canna began his League of Legends journey with T1 but was later substituted by Choi ‘Zeus’ Woo-je before the 2022 season.
In 2023, the LEC team, Karmine Corp, will be bringing on the former Korean star as they make their final attempt at international competition. The team has struggled throughout the current season, but with a new roster and coaching changes for the Summer Split, they are determined to turn their abysmal record around.
The effectiveness of this fresh roster in breaking KCorp’s 10th-place curse is yet to be determined. Fans will have the opportunity to witness the roster in action when the LEC Summer Split commences on June 8, 2024.
