The latest developments of Boruto: The Two Blue Vortex have caused a significant stir. This continuation of the Boruto series chronicles the adventures of Boruto and his friends four years after the time jump.
The official release date for Chapter 13 of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex is August 21, 2024, but the biggest plot twists have already been leaked and are circulating on the internet.
The previous chapter featured Boruto and Sarada teaming up to defeat Hidari and successfully destroying the God Tree, with the help of Kawaki. However, the situation intensifies when Jura obtains Hidari’s Thorn Soul Bulb.
First Encounter between Boruto and Kashin Koji
The next installment of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex hints at a major revelation related to Kashin Koji, a key character in the series. It is revealed that he is actually a clone of the legendary Jiraiya, designed to eliminate Isshiki Ōtsutsuki, a powerful member of the Ōtsutsuki clan.
In addition, it has been revealed where Boruto was and what happened when he encountered Koji for the first time during the time leap. Koji, using his abilities, had imparted all the knowledge that Boruto was meant to acquire, ultimately making him the most powerful.
Boruto was called to one of Orochimaru’s former hideouts in the latest chapter, where he discovers that Koji has concealed the entrance with his genjutsu. Furthermore, Koji exposes the fact that the toads he employs are all man-made.

The spoilers confirmed that Kashin Koji will receive a surprising revelation of power. He appears to possess the ability to see into the future, and his visions have been proven to be accurate on several occasions. This was demonstrated during his battle against Isshiki, as he was able to foresee Naruto’s Baryon Mode and glimpses of Eida’s Omnipotence and Shinju.
Inherited from the Ōtsutsuki Shibai, the God of the Ōtsutsuki Clan, Kashin Koji possessed the Shinjutsu ‘Jippo’ or Ten Directions of the Universe. This granted him the power to envision all potential futures.
Fans were taken aback when Boruto did not inherit the ability to see the future through Momoshiki Ōtsutsuki’s Byakugan. However, it appears that Koji will now have a significant role to play in the series going forward.

Despite Boruto’s victory over the God Tree Hidari with the help of his comrades, Jura managed to obtain the Thorn Soul Bulb, which is believed to be the essential component of God trees.
In the previous chapter, Boruto mentioned that this object will aid in rescuing Sasuke Uchiha, who has been transformed into a tree. Later on, we witness Jura using it to revive Hidari with the power of the Shinju Tree by placing it on the Claw Mark Cube.
The upcoming plot will become increasingly captivating as Hidari returns to battle, Himawari awakens, and Matsuri’s use of the new Thorn Soul Bulb remains a mystery. It will be intriguing to see how Boruto and his allies will confront these new adversaries.
