Fans have been eagerly awaiting the release of the album, which showcases not only Jay Park but also fellow KARD bandmate Somin. They are on the edge of their seats, anticipating what BM has in store for them.

Despite the anticipation, the much-awaited release faced obstacles during its journey. On May 2, Korean news outlets reported that KBS had determined all five songs on BM’s solo album as “unsuitable for broadcast.”

Sources revealed that “Nectar”was deemed unsuitable because of its overtly sexual lyrics, while “Loyalty”faced scrutiny for allegedly including references to specific brands. These actions were in violation of Article 46 of the Broadcasting Review Regulations, which prohibits the promotion of products in music.

In the meantime, the other three songs titled “Motion,””Embers,”and “Badgirl Badboy”were considered inappropriate for airing primarily because of their use of offensive language, profanity, specific slang, and crass expressions.

The outlets additionally noted that in the event an artist is deemed ineligible for broadcast on KBS, a re-evaluation may be possible if the problematic aspects are either revised or removed.

In the event that the problematic portions are amended and the songs receive approval, the release may be aired on KBS programs, such as television and radio. DPS Media additionally issued a short statement, confirming that the title track “Nectar”will be the sole song in the album to undergo revisions.

“DSP Media shared that we intend to make a request for the reconsideration of the title track ‘Nectar’ in this situation.”
