K/DA Gragas: League of Legends Developers Bring Meme Skin to Reality

Riot Games has officially announced the long-awaited introduction of the meme-inspired League of Legends skin, K/DA Gragas, a move that fans have been eagerly anticipating for years.

One of the standout skin collections in League of Legends is the K/DA line, which features a virtual pop star group composed of champion characters such as Kai’Sa, Akali, Evelynn, and Ahri, with the recent addition of Seraphine, all portrayed as iconic music superstars.

The initial release of K/DA skins, alongside the mesmerizing music video for “Popstars,”became an instant sensation, paving the way for other bands like True Damage and Heartsteel, each with their unique songs and skin collections.

The overwhelming popularity of the K/DA skins has fueled the creativity of players, who started imagining their own versions of skins for various champions. Many fans expressed their desire to see champions like Braum, Gragas, and Taric don skimpy outfits, preparing for a grand music debut.

Fortunately, the wait is nearly over, as Riot is finally delivering what the players have yearned for.

In the recent League of Legends dev update on September 23rd, a plethora of new skins were revealed, which will be available as part of the LoL Player Days event. While many new skins showcased the community spirit of the MOBA, including Cosplayer Neeko and Esports Trundle, the highlight undoubtedly was Music Fan Gragas.

Adorned with the complete K/DA ensemble, including his signature exposed belly, Gragas looks fantastic as he embraces his new persona. Adding to the excitement, his recall animation features Gragas performing the famous Popstars dance, which fans have been hoping to see for years.

Although the developers have not disclosed the exact pricing for these skins, it is anticipated that they will be set at around 1350 RP, enhancing the in-game experience with impressive new visuals and sound designs.

When acquired between October 8 to October 24, the proceeds from all three skins will support the Riot Games Social Impact Fund. Moreover, the developers plan to match contributions, making it a wonderful cause and allowing players to obtain one of the most iconic League skins in recent history.
