Keith Lee fans shocked by review

The fans of Keith Lee were taken aback when the popular food reviewer spat out a portion of his order in disgust while sampling a new restaurant.

Despite having just over 16.2 million followers on TikTok, Keith Lee has established himself as a highly influential food reviewer on the platform. His opinions carry significant weight and can greatly impact the success of the restaurants he visits.

Despite bringing large numbers of customers to small, family-owned businesses, Lee’s reviews do not always go as anticipated. In fact, some of the restaurants he has reviewed in the past have faced criticism for mishandling donations and implementing strange policies. The most recent location he visited received a notoriously low rating after he was displeased with one of their menu items and spat it out.

On May 2, 2024, fans were taken aback by Keith Lee’s review of “Lillie Bells”where he expressed his disgust by spitting out some of the food.

Keith sampled the lamb, chicken wings, and a few other dishes — all of which he found enjoyable to some degree. But when he reached the collard greens, he had a strong reaction and quickly spat the food out the car window.

“Frankly speaking, that has been one of the most disappointing experiences I’ve had in a while. I don’t want to offend anyone, but in my opinion, it’s a complete zero out of ten. I have no desire to sample anything else,”he concluded his review.

This response elicited surprise from numerous followers on various social media platforms, prompting them to express their opinions through the comment sections of TikTok and Twitter.

One user replied, “I have never witnessed Keith being repulsed by anything, so those greens must have been truly atrocious.”

Another person remarked, “Being honest requires acknowledging both the positives and negatives. As a business owner, one must be willing to accept and address all aspects.”

“The green vegetables had my son so frustrated that he almost swore on camera,”a third person commented.

“The fourth fan on Twitter exclaimed, ‘It’s insane how Keith Lee was gagging and spitting out the food. What on earth did they add to those greens????’”
