TikTok food critic Keith Lee surprised his followers with a review of food prepared by his brother, former UFC fighter Kevin Lee.
Prior to gaining popularity on TikTok as the app’s top food critic, Keith Lee was heavily involved in Bellator MMA as a fighter. Fighting seems to be a family affair as well, as his brother Kevin Lee has also made a name for himself in the UFC.
Keith has been a full-time TikTok creator for more than a year, while Kevin Lee retired from the UFC in July 2023. Many of Kevin’s fans have been curious about his activities since then, and one of Keith’s recent videos finally provides some insight.
On May 27, 2024, Keith caused quite a stir when he posted a review of his brother’s restaurant, ‘Braised by Kevin Lee’. Fans were left shocked for numerous reasons.
“Keith explained that his family and he were currently in Hollywood, Florida and the food inside the bag was from his brother’s restaurant. He clarified that by brother, he meant they shared the same parents. However, he had not placed the order and his brother was unaware of their presence. It was later revealed that the food was from Kevin Lee.”
“Originally from Vegas, we all resided there until he relocated to Miami to establish his own pop up restaurant. His establishment, ‘Braised by Kevin Lee,’ can now be found inside the Yellow Green Farmers Market.”

Keith’s review of the food was no different from if it had come from any other business – he praised it as being excellent. The video gained widespread attention, accumulating over seven million views and astonishing his fans.
Several users were unaware that Kevin Lee was actually Keith’s brother. In response, one user commented, “Wait, isn’t Kevin Lee the mma fighter? I had no idea he was your brother. I miss seeing him in the UFC.”
Another person inquired, “Keith, why have you been hiding that handsome man from us?”
Many people were impressed by Kevin’s decision not to capitalize on Keith’s fame for the benefit of his business. “I have so much respect for him for requesting that you don’t come to the restaurant so he can achieve success on his own,”another person commented.
“Another person remarked that it was admirable how he chose to begin at the bottom and not rely on assistance from Keith Lee.”
Thanks to TikTok’s FYP, the review reached the attention of locals near Kevin’s pop-up restaurant, much to their delight upon discovering its close proximity.
Despite not being in the spotlight as frequently as before, former UFC fighter Kevin has not shied away from challenging high-profile individuals. This includes YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul, whom Kevin had previously called out in 2023 to assist in his MMA debut. However, the plans never came to fruition.
