Kep1er Continues Activities as a 7-Member Group

On May 30th, WAKEONE and Swing Entertainment released a statement announcing that Choi Yu-jin, Xiaoting, Kim Chae-hyun, Kim Da-yeon, Hikaru, Huening Bahiyyih, and Seo Young-eun, who are currently performing as Kep1er, have all agreed to renew their contracts and continue promoting as a group.

As a result, even after the conclusion of their initial project group period, Kep1er will carry on with their domestic and international endeavors as a 7-member group. The release of their first full album, “Kep1going On,”on June 3rd and a concert in Japan in July will mark the final activities of Mashiro and Kang Ye-seo with Kep1er.

WAKEONE and Swing Entertainment have announced that after extensive and meaningful discussions with Mashiro, Kang Ye-seo, and their agency, it has been decided that their time with Kep1er will come to an end. The companies express their gratitude to Mashiro and Kang Ye-seo for their unwavering commitment during their two and a half years with Kep1er, and assure them of their ongoing support.

Despite being the first Mnet project group to successfully renew their contract, Kep1er is expected to gain additional momentum in their upcoming domestic activities as a complete 9-member group after 9 months.

Kep1er’s upcoming release of their first full album, “Kep1going On,”on June 3rd will mark a significant milestone in their domestic activities. Following the album’s release, the group will also have the opportunity to connect with their Japanese fans at a highly-anticipated concert in the Japan K-Arena Yokohama, which has a capacity of 20,000.
