Kep1er’s Xiaoting Pauses Group Activities for Personal Projects
On December 5, Kep1er’s management agency informed fans through the official fan cafe that member Xiaoting from China will be stepping back temporarily from group engagements to concentrate on her individual endeavors in her home country.
The statement from the agency detailed that, “After extensive discussions with Xiaoting’s primary agency last month, it was determined that she would embark on more personal activities in China starting December.” The agency concluded, “Consequently, she will be unable to partake in Kep1er’s scheduled engagements for the near future, and we appreciate the understanding of our fans.”
Fan Reactions and Controversy
Despite this announcement, Xiaoting’s fanbase has expressed significant frustration, accusing the agency of dishonesty. Fans pointed out discrepancies between statements issued by Xiaoting’s Chinese agency, TOPCLASS, and Kep1er’s management. TOPCLASS previously noted, “Xiaoting’s personal schedule was established following thorough consultations with the Korean side, and the current circumstances in Korea are more complex. The health and safety of our artists take precedence. Therefore, her absence from the fan sign event is not solely due to individual activities in China.”
🗣️ reason of Xiaoting’s absence in fan sign events: -W1 and Klap statement said it’s due to personal activities in China -Topclass contradicted that, stating it isn’t due to solo activities in China and that fansign events are managed by the Korean company. Xiaoting’s Gesture and Message to Fans
The agency stated their willingness to make adjustments for Xiaoting’s participation in group activities, expressing a commitment to cooperation. Compounding the confusion, on December 4, Xiaoting posted a story featuring Pinocchio with a noticeably long nose, a possible reference to dishonesty, only to delete it moments later.

In the wake of these events, Xiaoting took to social media to reassure her fans, expressing regret for her absence and encouraging them to be patient. She wrote, “You will wait for me, right? My heart will always be with Kep1er and I will always be with Kep1ians, so don’t worry.”
Fans Seeking Clarity
With the contrasting narratives from both agencies, Xiaoting’s loyal supporters are left questioning the situation and calling for honest communication regarding her status. As developments unfold, the atmosphere among fans remains charged with concern and a desire for clarity.
