To celebrate the launch of their debut full album “Kep1going On”, Kep1er (Choi Yu-jin, Shen Xiaoting, Mashiro, Kim Chae-hyun, Kim Da-yeon, Hikaru, Huening Bahiyyih, Seo Young-eun, Kang Ye-seo) held a showcase at YES24 Live Hall in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul on June 3rd.
Kang Ye-seo expressed, “Despite any imperfections, our album activities were a happy and unforgettable experience. We strived to give our best to our fans and supporters, and I believe we were able to do so through the trust we had in each other.”She added, “Today, we are proud to present our first full album. We hope you anticipate the performances that the nine of us will deliver. Please always remember that we are a family of nine,”as she wiped away tears.
Mashiro expressed, “We have countless cherished moments of the nine members being united as Kep1er. The love and support from our fans have been overwhelming. Our aim is to showcase improved versions of ourselves during this promotional period. We humbly request your continuous interest and love.”
During a recent interview, Kim Chae-hyun expressed her sentiments, stating, “We have shared countless memories and experiences together. Our strong bond has always been the foundation of our support for each other. As sisters, we will strive to maintain a positive relationship with all nine members, and we ask for your continued support for each and every one of us. Although this upcoming album will be our final one as a nine-member group, it also marks our first full album in Korea. We hope that you will pay close attention to our hard work, talent, and meaningful messages.”
“With “Kep1going On”, Kep1er makes their much-anticipated comeback after a hiatus of nine months. This is also their first full album release in Korea since their debut. The album consists of 10 diverse tracks, with the lead single “Shooting Star”. This album holds great significance as it marks the beginning and end of Kep1er as a nine-member group. In a recent achievement, Kep1er became the first Mnet project group to successfully renew their contracts, and they will continue promoting as a seven-member group.”
Kep1er’s debut album, titled “Kep1going On,”was officially released today at 6 PM.
