On December 7, 2024, KG took to Instagram to announce her exit from the group, revealing that she has initiated legal action due to mistreatment experienced during her time with the company. She stressed that the alleged abusive behavior by staff has inflicted deep emotional scars on her and her fellow members, with claims of a suicide attempt and self-harm reportedly linked to the environment fostered within the group.

In response to KG’s claims, JYP USA swiftly denied the allegations the following day, asserting that she left the group’s residence in May 2024.
