Kick, the emerging streaming platform, faces a significant challenge regarding its top content creators. If these key figures choose to exit the platform, it could severely impact the site’s overall viewership and success.
In 2024, Kick experienced remarkable growth by attracting streamers from regions such as Latin America and the Middle East. However, the site’s most prominent creators remain its most valuable assets. Notably, Westcol emerged as the standout performer, amassing an impressive 62.48 million hours watched, closely followed by N3on with 54.02 million, Adin Ross with 52.68 million, and xQc at 51.52 million hours.
According to data from StreamsCharts, the ten leading streamers on Kick accounted for 19.7% of the platform’s staggering total of 1,944,612,060 hours watched this year. This concentration of viewership among a small number of creators raises potential concerns about the platform’s sustainability.

Risks of Overdependence on Top Talent
In comparison, Kick’s competitors, Twitch and YouTube, showcase a different scenario. Their top ten streamers contributed only 4.2% and 4.6% of total viewing hours, respectively. Analyzing further, Twitch’s top 100 streamers represented 15.1% of total watch time, while YouTube Gaming’s top 100 stood at 17.2%.
However, Kick’s statistics indicate a concerning trend: the platform’s top 100 channels accounted for a staggering 50.7% of watch time, and its top 1,000 channels comprised a significant 81.5%. This is dramatically higher than Twitch’s 38.2% and YouTube’s 38.4%.
Nazar Babenko, Product Manager at Streams Charts, highlighted that “While Twitch continues to dominate the gaming live-streaming industry with its unparalleled watch time, the platform’s relatively low concentration ratio highlights its resilience due to a diverse creator ecosystem.”
The risk posed by Kick’s reliance on a few top creators is substantial.
“Conversely, Kick’s heavy reliance on top-tier streamers exposes it to significant risks, underscoring the critical need for platform diversification to ensure long-term stability,” Babenko added.
This critical situation is underscored by recent developments involving popular streamer Adin Ross. He hinted at a potential departure from Kick, which could lead to significant viewer loss. However, he confirmed that his influencer boxing program, ‘Brand Risk’, will remain on the platform.
The upcoming year of 2025 will be pivotal for Kick. The platform must address these risks and develop strategies to retain its popular creators, ensuring that the departure of any top talent does not jeopardize its future.
