The streaming platform Kick, which is owned by Stake, has officially partnered with the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), creating a buzz among fans.

Since its inception in late 2022, Kick has attracted some of the most prominent figures in the entertainment and streaming sectors to its service.

In 2023, Kick secured major deals with Twitch icons xQc and Amouranth, signing them to lucrative non-exclusive contracts worth millions. Following this, a host of other Twitch personalities have also come aboard the growing platform.

On October 25, Kick announced the inclusion of UFC on their platform via a social media update, celebrating the organization’s initial broadcasts with them. “Welcome to the Kick family, UFC,” they stated.

Although the announcement was made on a Friday, UFC has already gone live on Kick to showcase preliminary events for UFC 308 happening in the UAE.

So far, the channel has hosted the pre-fight press conference and two weigh-in sessions, accumulating over 4,500 followers and significant view counts across all its streams. It’s anticipated that awareness of the channel will lead to a surge in these figures.

As noted in a recent UFC press release, viewers will see the Kick logo featured on the Octagon during select Pay-Per-View events and Fight Nights, including UFC 308.

This event will highlight a title fight on Saturday, October 26, between Ilia Topuria and Max Holloway, who is an active streamer on Kick for his audience of over 30,000 followers.

“We are thrilled to collaborate with UFC to deliver outstanding content and exclusive behind-the-scenes experiences for our Kick viewers,”stated Akhil Sarin, Chief Marketing Officer of Kick.

“We eagerly anticipate the launch of the UFC channel this week, featuring our branding during UFC 308 in Abu Dhabi, with our own Max Holloway fighting for the featherweight title, and a wealth of unforgettable UFC content streaming live on Kick. Don’t miss it—make sure to tune in and join the conversation!”

This exciting development comes on the heels of a significant increase in user engagement on Kick, reporting a 40% growth in new sign-ups throughout October.
