Kick Streamer Banned for Trespassing After Entering Military Base

Kick streamer ‘Shoovy’ faced a ban from the platform for trespassing after unlawfully entering a military base while live streaming.

On September 5, 2024, a clip surfaced showing Shoovy being confronted by law enforcement during the stream, quickly gaining traction across social media platforms.

In the video, he is seen exiting a wooded area adjacent to the military base, raising his hands and approaching a police vehicle before kneeling down and being handcuffed.

The streaming session abruptly concluded shortly afterward, with Shoovy’s account being banned for trespassing, leading to the complete deactivation of his channel. As of now, attempting to access his channel results in a 404 error page.

Shoovy posted a screenshot of his ban notification on X, disclosing the reason for the ban and the duration of the suspension.

The Kick streamer received a three-day ban from the platform, with his channel set to be reinstated on September 9, 2024.

“Banned and arrested within 24 hours of being unbanned. I’m cooked,” remarked the streamer in a tweet.

This trespassing ban follows a previous suspension for violence during a stream, details of which remain unclear.

Just a few months prior, Kick introduced two new stream categories – IRL and Chat Roulette – aimed at enhancing moderation and managing “problematic” stream situations.

Kick CEO Eddie Craven stated, “We’re going to ensure every person in the Chat Roulette and IRL category has an active moderator available to shut down the stream if things escalate.”

Nevertheless, this does not imply that all live streams are under continuous supervision by Kick’s moderation team. On September 3, 2024, another streamer managed to evade police after failing to stop while broadcasting an IRL stream. As of this moment, he has yet to face any consequences from Kick and continues to stream daily.
