During a broadcast, popular streamer ‘SamPanday’ was on a bus that collided with another vehicle, resulting in injuries for both himself and other passengers.
SamPanday is a popular IRL streamer on Kick with a following of more than 11,000 followers. On August 7, 2024, he and a group of other passengers were on a trip in a mini bus on the highway, which he chose to livestream.
Panday was becoming increasingly fatigued from the journey when a person in the car suddenly exclaimed, “Oh no!”
The bus abruptly collided with another car ahead of them on the road, causing the sound of screeching tires and clashing metal. Panday and his fellow passengers were flung around inside the cabin like ragdolls.
As the situation came to a stop, onlookers could hear a distinct hissing noise as the driver instructed his passengers to quickly evacuate the bus. One of the passengers later confirmed during a live stream that gasoline was leaking from the bus.
Panday and the rest of the riders swiftly made their way to the shoulder of the road, where they took a seat on the ground and waited for assistance. Within a matter of minutes, emergency medical services arrived and provided care to all those involved in the collision.
The streamer himself started experiencing pain in his knee and head, causing concern for a possible “concussion”from the broadcaster next to him. Additionally, a woman who had also been on the bus was seen bleeding from her mouth.
Panday displayed bruising on his right arm in a separate stream following the accident, announcing his release from a hospital.
“According to Panday, if the car is visible, it means it was damaged. Panday also mentioned sustaining minor injuries and struggling to walk, but clarified that nothing was broken and the pain persists.”
This is not the first time a car accident has been captured on a live stream. In June, a streamer known as ‘Moxie’ was live streaming from inside an Uber when the vehicle was rear-ended, resulting in a head injury for the streamer. In March, another Twitch streamer caught a police chase on camera, which eventually led to a collision.
