Kick streamer sparks outrage after driving on sidewalk

A Kick streamer is causing controversy after being caught driving on the sidewalk during a live broadcast, leaving viewers surprised that they have not been banned from the platform yet.

The streamer known as ‘Basedvladprophet’ on Kick has gained over 350 followers on the website and is currently embroiled in controversy after a broadcast on June 21, which can be viewed at this link.

During his live stream, Vlad decided to drive his car onto a public sidewalk in the middle of town while he was with his friends, exclaiming “f*ck it”before doing so.

Despite pulling up to an intersection, he remained on the sidewalk, playfully claiming to be a pedestrian and waving at a bus full of passengers while his friends chuckled in the background.

As of now, Vlad’s Kick profile remains active, but it does not contain any VODs, clips, or other information. Additionally, his Twitter/X profile has been deactivated.

The stream is gaining momentum on social media as viewers criticize Vlad and Kick for not taking action against the broadcaster for his reckless driving.

“A user on X expressed frustration with people’s willingness to do anything for online content, stating “smh.”The user’s comment can be found at https://x.com/jshm0ney_/status/1804976826089197877.”

“The recent actions of Kick are becoming uncontrollable. In light of this, one individual suggested that the US Government should prohibit the platform.”

“One commenter even urged for the removal of the streamer, stating, “Take a look at what some of these streamers are turning into!”They wrote.

Kick streamer ‘vladbasedprophet’ is facing backlash after driving on the sidewalk with his friends in a live broadcast.

Despite the lack of public response from Kick staff, this is not the first time an outrageous incident streamed on the site has caused outrage among netizens.

Since its launch in 2022, Kick has been associated with numerous controversial incidents, such as a streamer daring a woman to jump in a lake and abandoning her when she revealed she was unable to swim, as well as a broadcaster setting off fireworks next to a sleeping homeless person.

Despite its reputation, Kick also offers some positive activities, like when a streamer recently assisted in rescuing a man who was stranded on railway tracks.

On Kick’s behalf, it has recently introduced new categories aimed at moderating “problematic”situations, giving users hope that less negative behavior will go unpunished on the platform.
