Kicked FaZe Clan members react to sudden exit as org “reboots”: Kalei, Sway, Cizzors, more

Many former members of FaZe Clan have reacted to the news of their departure, expressing a range of emotions from confusion and anger to heartfelt farewells. Below are all of their responses.

On April 28, FaZe Clan’s social media pages were revived, as they announced a “reboot”of the organization. A significant part of this revamp was reducing the number of content creators to 14 members.

Consequently, numerous well-known individuals, including those who had been affiliated with the group for a significant period of time, were unexpectedly removed from their membership.

The complete roster of removed content creators and their respective reactions can be found below.

Blaze

In a YouTube video, he expressed his gratitude to fans and FaZe for the memories and shared that he had been informed of the news two months earlier.

After watching the video, Banks took to X to praise Blaze, calling him a “f**king class act” and expressing his well wishes for his success. He also commended Blaze for perfectly and honestly summing up the situation.

Nate Hill

After being released from FaZe, Nate Hill wrote extensively about his experience with the organization. He expressed deep gratitude for their support and pride in his contributions to the team. These included appearing in commercials, modeling merchandise releases, conducting interviews with top movie stars, and spearheading collaborations with prestigious brands like Porsche and Man City. He also highlighted the significance of competing and excelling in major eSports tournaments.

“While it’s coming to an end, I can’t help but feel disappointed. After working together for the past 6 years, I had expected more than a sudden phone call before a post was published. However, as they say, that’s just the way life goes. As one door closes, another one opens.”

Take it

Kalei became emotional while discussing her departure from the organization during a live stream. She stated that she had not received any compensation during her time with FaZe and expressed her dissatisfaction with the outcome.

“After nearly a decade, Dirty announced that his time with FaZe has come to an end. Despite getting booted, he reflects on a fulfilling journey and expresses his hope for the brand to continue thriving. He also addresses his removal on YouTube.”

Crying

Booya expressed gratitude on X for the opportunity given to him by FaZe over the past 3 years. He stated that he would not exchange the memories or friendships he made during this time for anything. From his perspective, he has nothing but love and positive things to say.

Kitty

“While I cannot speak on behalf of others, I can confidently say that I have put in my best effort over the past years to stay true to FaZe’s values,”Kitty expressed. “My time with them has been enjoyable and I sincerely wish them all the success with this new beginning. I urge everyone to give them a chance and see where it takes them.”

JSmooth

JSmooth expressed gratitude to FaZe for the opportunity to be a part of the clan, stating, “While I may not have been selected, I am truly grateful to have been a member of the top organization in the world for 3 years. I have made countless memories and formed lasting friendships during my time here. Thank you to FaZe for believing in me and allowing me to represent as a black creator. It has been a true blessing.”

H1ghSKY1

After spending five years with Faze, H1ghSKy1 also did not make the final roster. However, he expressed gratitude for the time he spent growing up with the Faze family, stating that it was some of the most memorable moments of his life. He expressed appreciation to all those who have supported him throughout the years and wished the team well in their future endeavors.

Linkzy

Linkzy expressed, “The journey has been an absolute rollercoaster ride and I am extremely grateful for the opportunities and memories I’ve had. This is not the end for me and I am eagerly looking forward to what we can create in the future. I am grateful to Banks for giving me a chance back in 2013.”

Fakie

Despite being assured that he would always be a part of FaZe, Fakie did not take the news as well as some other members who were cut from the group.

In response, he stated, “This situation is unbelievable. Back in 2018, I was explicitly informed that I would remain a member of FaZe and be part of the clan, unless I engaged in harmful activities such as using heroin or doing something outrageous on a live stream.”He went on to say, “Either you guys are not being genuine at all, or I am still a part of FaZe. There is no room for ambiguity here.”

Blue

Despite everything, Bloo remained open-minded, declaring, “The past ten years have been filled with countless memories. There are so many clips, videos, and even more love than I could have ever imagined.”

Agony

Agony expressed his confusion over the news and mentioned that fans could anticipate an upcoming video discussing his departure from FaZe. Despite being on vacation at the time, he assured that he would make a video about it once he returns home later this week. He added, “Hopefully, we’ll have a better understanding of why this happened by then.”

Sway

Sway further stated that he was indeed released from FaZe, stating, “I have been officially removed from FaZe and I will always appreciate everything FaZeClan has done for me. I recognize that I wouldn’t be where I am today without their support.”

“Even though I officially joined FaZe in 2022, the brand and its values have been a source of inspiration for me since I was 14. To me, FaZe was more than just a label attached to my name, it played a crucial role in shaping my identity,”Proze explained in response to being released from the team.

He stated, “I have reached the decision to end my time as a member of FaZe Clan today, and it brings mixed emotions. This team has been a significant part of my life for the last ten years, and I only hope for the continued success of those who are still a part of it.”

Nine

Nio expressed, “Although I didn’t make the cut, it has been a great honor to be a part of the organization that every child aspired to be in while growing up. The past 3 years have been a true blessing. I am grateful to all those who have supported me throughout this journey.”

Faxutes

Faxuty disclosed that he learned of his release through his chat, expressing disappointment and stating, “It’s unfortunate that I found out this way and didn’t receive a phone call or even a text from anyone, but I understand the situation. Joining FaZe at the beginning of my career was a significant moment for me and my community, and it will always hold a special place in my heart.”

“The memories and connections made during my time with FaZe will always hold a special place in my heart. As a long-time fan of FaZe, being given the opportunity to join the team was a dream come true and a true blessing,”he stated. “I have nothing but good wishes for everyone and I hope to see FaZe return to its former glory. Now, I am excited to move on to the next chapter.”

Cizzors

Cizzorz responded to being dropped from FaZe in a puzzling tweet that left his fans confused. He wrote, “Got kicked from FaZe. Ended things with my girlfriend. New Deathrun dropping today.”

Banks’ words for FaZe’s ex-members were not as kind as those he used for Blaze. He stated, “Screw them all… What does it say about Blaze’s response compared to the reactions of these unknown individuals seeking attention? We didn’t even invite you, some strange person did.”

It was also disclosed that Rain had been given an opportunity to join the new FaZe Clan, but he ultimately chose to decline and leave instead. “There’s no hard feelings, we’ll work things out and he’s always welcome to come back to the team. He knows that,”said the speaker.

FaZe has already begun its recruitment process by bringing in Max as their first member. They are anticipating a total of four members to join their team.
