By selecting options like “Put your gun down” or “Easy, I’m a friend,” players can engage him in conversation. This approach will lead to a quest where Squint asks for an artifact known as “Mold,”located in a nearby perilous cave.

Upon venturing to retrieve the Mold from the acid cave, players must confront a formidable Bloodsucker Mutant guarding the artifact. It seems Squint neglected to inform you about this lurking danger before sending you into the fray—perhaps a reason for his possible demise?

After acquiring the Mold and returning to Squint, players face another decision:

  1. “Take it and get lost” [Return the Mold to Squint].
  2. “I’ll keep the artifact” [Choose to attack Squint].

While Squint’s oversight may warrant irritation, his life shouldn’t be the price of negligence. Simply return the artifact; in doing so, he will reciprocate by handing over the Ward Sensors. Additionally, keeping the artifact provides no substantial rewards, making the decision to fight not worthwhile.
