Laws of Love in the Big City has achieved the remarkable honor of being officially selected for the Special Presentations section of the 49th Toronto International Film Festival. Director Lee Eon-hee, along with lead actors Kim Go-eun and Noh Sang-hyun, recently attended this prestigious event in Canada.
On the 13th (local time), the world premiere made waves, garnering significant attention from audiences and the media worldwide. The Royal Alexandra Theatre, equipped with over 1,100 seats, was completely filled, and the film was met with a standing ovation following the screening.
Kim Go-eun particularly shone on the red carpet with her striking short haircut, becoming the highlight of the event. Her exquisite beauty beautifully complemented this stylish look, attracting admiration from attendees. Clad in a pristine white dress, she radiated high-class chicness. This transformation symbolizes her dedication to her upcoming project, the Netflix series The Price of Confession, emphasizing her commitment to her craft and ensuring she stole the spotlight at the festival.
At another event, Kim Go-eun showcased a long wig, embodying her charming “lovely”persona in a striking contrast, further attracting attention. Seamlessly transitioning between innocent and “girl crush” aesthetics, she lived up to her reputation as a “master of transformation.”
Laws of Love in the Big City explores the relationship between Jae-hee (played by Kim Go-eun), a free-spirited individual unbound by limitations, and Heung-soo (played by Noh Sang-hyun), who is accustomed to keeping his distance from others. The film intricately presents their distinctive love story as they cohabitate and is set for release on October 1st.
