Kim Hee-sun on Her Marriage to Park Joo-young

On the May 23rd episode of tvN’s “Watcha Up To,”Kim Hee-sun and Lee Eun-ji discussed the topic of marriage.

During her interview with host Lee Eun-ji, Kim Hee-sun, who has been married for 18 years, was asked, “Is marriage worth it? Would you recommend it?”In response, Kim laughed and replied, “I still recommend it,”before adding, “But opinions on this may change over the years.”

Upon seeing someone, Lee Eun-ji inquired, “Do you truly have the thought of ‘I’m going to marry that person?’”

According to Kim, there is a distinct difference between marriage and dating. Though she struggles to articulate it, she recalls feeling a strong desire to marry her current partner when they first met. Now that she has experienced it, she believes she will be able to express this feeling more clearly in the near future.
