After the completion of the K-drama “Lovely Runner,”Kim Hye-yoon, the lead actress, opened up about her thoughts on the filming experience, her personal growth, and her co-star Byun Woo-seok in an interview.
Kim Hye-yoon revealed that she shed many tears during the filming process, attributing her ability to cry convincingly to the energy exuded by Byun Woo-seok in his role as male lead Seon-jae. She expressed gratitude to her co-star for creating a comfortable and supportive environment for her to act in, noting that his portrayal of Seon-jae greatly aided her concentration.

During an interview, Kim Hye-yoon was asked if she had developed any genuine romantic feelings for co-star Byun Woo-seok while acting together. She immediately denied any dating rumors, stating, “There was a particular moment where I was able to see Seon-jae’s charming qualities. It was during a scene where Sol desperately needed a bathroom, and Seon-jae stopped the bus to help her. Seeing his reliability and thoughtfulness, I was deeply touched by his selflessness. It made me realize how dependable he was while we were filming.”
