HighZium Studio announced on May 3rd that Kim Ji-won will be hosting her first solo fanmeeting, titled “BE MY ONE,”at the Shinhan Card SOLPay Square Live Hall in Mapo-gu, Seoul on June 22nd. This will mark her first fan meeting in 14 years since her debut, giving her the opportunity to finally meet and interact with her fans once again.
The fanmeeting, titled “BE MY ONE,”conveys the heartfelt message of Kim Ji-won and her fans coming together as one. The recently unveiled poster features Kim Ji-won’s natural beauty and charisma, heightening anticipation for the fanmeeting among her fans.
This fanmeeting holds great significance as it marks Kim Ji-won’s first since her debut. Throughout her career, the actress has captivated audiences with her impressive acting abilities and stunning appearance in popular dramas like “The Heirs”, “Descendants of the Sun”, “Fight For My Way”, “Arthdal Chronicles”, “My Liberation Notes”, and “Queen of Tears”. Notably, her most recent project “Queen of Tears”broke records for the highest ratings in tvN’s history.
It is anticipated that Kim Ji-won will have a wonderful time at her inaugural fanmeeting, similar to receiving a special gift. In a video posted on HighZium Studio’s YouTube channel, Kim Ji-won shared her enthusiasm, stating, “I am already eager to meet my fans in person! We are putting in a lot of effort. Please anticipate it and I cannot wait to see you all at the fanmeeting.”
On the 2nd, Kim Soo-hyun’s fanclub in Japan, ‘Always’, announced the actor’s upcoming fanmeeting. They expressed gratitude for the continuous support for Kim Soo-hyun and shared that the actor, known for his role as Baek Hyun-woo in ‘Queen of Tears’, will be meeting with his Japanese fans.
The event, named “2024 Kim Soo-hyun Asia Tour In Japan: Eyes On You,”is scheduled to be held on June 22nd and 23rd at Pia Arena MM in Yokohama. Tickets are priced at 13,000 yen (equivalent to 115,000 won) per ticket and each account is allowed to purchase a maximum of four tickets for each performance.
This marks Kim Soo-hyun’s return to Asia after 10 years since 2014. Following the conclusion of the drama “My Love From The Star”, Kim Soo-hyun dedicated three months to connecting with his fans, totaling 50,000, in 9 cities across 7 Asian countries such as Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia, and Japan.
Fans of “Queen of Tears”who are still invested in the drama had a strong reaction, stating, “Don’t the fonts on their posters look identical?”and expressing concern about the scheduling conflict of both actors holding fan meetings on the same day, making it challenging for them to attend each other’s events as guests.
At the same time, “Queen of Tears,”tvN’s Sat-Sun drama, achieved the highest ratings in the network’s history with 24.9%, surpassing the record set by “Crash Landing on You”(21.7%).
