On July 17th, Kim Ji-won updated her Instagram profile picture for the first time in over four years, since she joined Instagram in February 2016.
During her recent fan meeting “BE MY ONE”in Seoul on June 22, she addressed a concern that was brought up by her fans regarding her SNS profile picture not being changed.
Kim Ji-won recounted, “Nine years ago, I traveled to Greece for the filming of ‘Descendants of the Sun.’ During a break from shooting, I joined my fellow soldiers on a motorcycle ride. I was captured in a photo, brimming with excitement, and loved it so much that I made it my profile picture.”
During the fan meeting, Kim Ji-won gave fans the opportunity to vote for a new profile picture. The actress expressed her disappointment when someone asked why her profile photo had not been changed, saying, “As a member of the MZ community, it hurt my pride.”She then went on to explain, “I have other pictures that I wanted to share with you,”and presented three options for the new profile picture.
When the three photos were displayed, viewers chuckled at the lovable Kim Ji-won and expressed their votes with enthusiastic cheers. As the No. 3 contender received a resounding applause, Kim Ji-won was taken aback and responded, “I understand.”
