HighZium Studio, the agency representing Kim Ji-won, made an announcement on their official account on May 16th. They expressed concern about the large crowds that gather whenever the actress enters or exits airports in Korea and abroad. The agency acknowledged the safety issue and shared some information to ensure the safety of everyone involved.
The agency reminded individuals to refrain from taking inappropriate photos and delivering letters and gifts directly to maintain a safe distance. They also assured that if any letters or gifts are sent to the agency, they will be delivered to the actress accordingly. Furthermore, for security purposes, it is advised to avoid taking photos and videos in departure halls and duty-free zones, with the exception of general areas.
“We express our sincere gratitude for your continuous support and affection towards the artist,”the statement read. “We remain committed to prioritizing the safety of all individuals, including the artist and fans.”
On May 15th, Kim Ji-won arrived back home at Incheon International Airport after finishing her trip abroad. The airport was filled with excited fans, and as Kim Ji-won made her appearance, both fans and reporters quickly gathered, causing a chaotic scene. Despite the overwhelming situation, Kim Ji-won remained composed. However, some individuals raised concerns about her safety as there were only two bodyguards with her in comparison to the large crowd, leading to criticism towards her agency.
