Reality television star Kim Kardashian has revealed that her reliance on artificial intelligence, specifically OpenAI’s ChatGPT, may have negatively impacted her performance on her law exams. During a lie detector segment with Teyana Taylor, Kardashian disclosed that she turned to the AI chatbot for guidance as she prepared for her bar examinations, only to encounter inaccuracies in the information it provided.
“I use it for legal advice, ” Kardashian explained.“When I’m faced with a question, I take a picture of it and input it into the chat. Unfortunately, the responses are often incorrect. It may have contributed to my failing some tests.”
Kardashian’s Unique Relationship with AI
Kardashian humorously described her interaction with the chatbot as akin to having a “toxic friend.”She shared, “I end up getting frustrated and shout at it—‘You made me fail!’” In response, she noted that the AI tends to prompt her with motivational remarks, suggesting, “This is just teaching you to trust your own instincts.”
Despite her challenging experiences with AI assistance, Kardashian has indicated that it has also served as a surprising source of encouragement. Reflecting on this, she noted, “It’s teaching me a valuable lesson in life.” She continued, “It’s almost become a therapist, encouraging me to believe in myself even after giving the wrong answers.”
On a related note, Kardashian has remained candid about her ambition to become a licensed attorney. She mentioned during a recent appearance on The Graham Norton Show that she expects her bar exam results within the next two weeks, expressing her commitment to transitioning from her celebrity persona to a career as a trial lawyer.
