According to an article by News1 on the 14th, Suzy has been confirmed to play the female lead in ‘Hypnosis’, while Kim Seon-ho is being considered for the role of Yoon I-ho, the main character and a painter who will act alongside Suzy.
Kim Seon-ho and Suzy have previously collaborated on the 2020 tvN drama ‘Start-Up’.
The series, titled ‘Hypnosis’, is a captivating drama that takes place in Gyeongseong during the year 1935 and also in Shanghai during the 1800s. It delves into the enigmatic occurrences that transpire when artist Yoon I-ho is given the task of creating a portrait of the alluring vampire woman, Song Jeong-hwa. As the story unfolds, her true nature is slowly revealed. This adaptation is based on a popular webtoon, also called ‘Hypnosis’, that was originally published on Naver.
The potential casting of Ryu Jun-yeol and Han So-hee had sparked interest in the film ‘Hypnosis’. However, due to complications stemming from their romantic involvement and subsequent separation, both actors ultimately declined to be a part of the project.
At the moment, ‘Hypnosis’ is aiming to complete its casting process and commence filming before the end of this year.
