Rumors of a Past Relationship with Kim Sae Ron

Adding to the drama, the YouTube channel Garo Sero Institute recently stated that Kim Soo Hyun was in a romantic relationship with the late actress Kim Sae Ron, spanning approximately six years beginning in 2016. At that juncture, Kim Soo Hyun was 28 years old, while Kim Sae Ron was only 16, leading to serious concerns about an underage relationship.

According to family sources, Kim Sae Ron had signed an exclusive contract with Kim Soo Hyun’s agency, Gold Medalist, in 2020 based on his recommendation. However, following Kim Sae Ron’s DUI incident in 2022, the contract was terminated, resulting in her having to repay 700 million KRW to the agency. Her family insisted that this incident has caused her significant psychological distress. They disclosed that Kim Sae Ron had sent a poignant message to Kim Soo Hyun, pleading for assistance and time in repaying the debt, but reportedly did not receive a response.
