Kim Sung Kyu Returns to Kuala Lumpur After 11 Years for [LV:3 Let’s Vacay] Asia Tour

The 2024 Kim Sung Kyu [LV:3 Let’s Vacay] Asia Tour in Kuala Lumpur, organized by D-SHOW and promoted by Offbeat and 43, successfully ended its two-day run last night and this afternoon at Zepp Kuala Lumpur on 11th August 2024.

As Kim Sung Kyu took to the stage, he was greeted with enthusiastic cheers from INSPIRITs, the official fanbase of his group, INFINITE. He greeted the audience in Malay, exclaiming, “Apa khabar semua, saya Kim Sung Kyu!”right after his performance of three opening songs.

Sung Kyu’s debut solo performance in Malaysia was celebrated with this concert. He expressed, “It’s been a while since our last INFINITE performance in Malaysia, and I am ecstatic to be reunited with my fans here!”He also shared that he had a peaceful night before the show and even indulged in the famous Malaysian delicacy, Nasi Lemak.

During his live performance of his debut solo track, “41th,”Sung Kyu’s fans showed their enthusiasm by cheering “We love it!”The artist then went on to captivate the audience with his rendition of other popular songs including “Climax,””It Will Be,””Jump,””Go Again,””Kontrol,”and “Sorry,”all of which were met with an enthusiastic response from the crowd.

During his performances of “Small Talk”and “60sec,”Sung Kyu was met with enthusiastic participation from fans, who sang along to the chorus. In response, Sung Kyu gave them a thumbs up and praised their singing, exclaiming, “You sang so well, I’m really impressed!”Proudly, the fans responded with the popular Malaysian phrase, “Malaysia Boleh!”

During the event, Sung Kyu, who has also been involved in various musical productions, inquired if any members of the audience had watched his shows. A few of his dedicated fans confirmed, and even mentioned that they had gone all the way to South Korea to show their support for him.

When INFINITE fans in Malaysia requested a reunion for a future show, Sung Kyu’s promise to return with the group sparked immediate excitement. As he declared, “This will be our last song for today,”the crowd responded with shouts of “No!”With visible emotion, he expressed, “It’s been over a decade since my last visit to Malaysia, but you know, I’ve always been by your side. So much has happened in these past 10 years – I’ve shed tears and shared laughter. Thank you for always supporting me. I love you!”The concert concluded with encore performances of “Kontrol,””My Everyday Is You,””답가,”and “끌림.”
