On June 25th, Baek Seung-cheol of BSN Real Estate Group revealed that Kim Woo-bin had entered into a contract on March 29th to acquire a property in Nonhyeon-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul. This building was formerly occupied by Big Hit Music, the agency of BTS. The purchase price for this building was approximately 13.7 billion won.
It can be estimated that a secured loan of 6.2 billion won was obtained, as Shinhan Bank required a collateral mortgage of 7.44 billion won (usually 120% of the loan amount) for this property during the purchase. The remaining 7.5 billion won was paid in cash for the building.
This building, which consists of five stories and two basements, holds a special significance for ARMYs (BTS’s fandom). This is because the members of BTS poured their blood, sweat, and tears into the practice room within this building before achieving their status as world-renowned singers.
Big Hit Music had utilized the building as their office from 2007 until 2011 when they expanded the company and relocated the office to the nearby Seoul Building. In 2020, they further moved to their current headquarters in Yongsan and rebranded the company as HYBE.
Apart from this building, Kim Woo-bin also possesses a detached house located in Seongbuk-dong, Seongbuk-gu, Seoul.
At the same time, Kim Woo-bin decided to collaborate with Suzy on writer Kim Eun-seok’s latest project “Everything Will Come True”.
