KINO’s debut EP, If this is love, I want a refund, has been officially released.
Through this EP, his goal is to capture the range of emotions that encompass the various stages of love, including the intense anger after a breakup and the exhilarating feeling of discovering a new love in one’s life.
This is further exemplified through two opposing visual representations: a romantic and perfect love, and a truthful love that emerges from a shattered illusion.

With a compilation of songs, I uncover authentic emotions surrounding love – the highs, lows, and everything in between. This project is a raw and honest portrayal of the complexities of love, dispelling any idealized notions. It’s a reflection of not just my own story, but also the universal experiences of love: the diary of us all.”
The EP, titled “Broke My Heart,”features five songs, all of which were written and composed by KINO. The title track expresses the pain and anger of being betrayed by a loved one. American singer, songwriter, and rapper Lay Bankz is also featured on the song. She gained popularity on TikTok with songs like tells the story of a couple who have decided to part ways after acknowledging their differences and wishing each other well in the future. “Freaky Love” was released as a single on March 21st of this year. The song captures the moment when one becomes infatuated with another, drawing inspiration from the popular slang term “delulu,”used on social media to describe someone who is acting delusional.
Through his latest album, “Valentine,” KINO aims to inspire listeners to persevere in relationships and love, even when faced with challenges. The album’s closing track, “Fashion Style,” was previously released as a single on January 8th, marking KINO’s debut under his new record label. The song reminds listeners to embrace their unique beauty and not conform to societal standards.
