Kishimoto’s Potential Plan for Sasuke in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex

Kishimoto’s Potential Plan for Sasuke in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex

Despite being one of the most powerful characters in the Boruto: Two Blue Vortex series, Sasuke Uchiha met his ultimate defeat at the hands of Claw Grimes and was ultimately transformed into a chakra tree, with no possibility of reversal.

After Sasuke was sealed, Hidari, one of the Ten-Tail God Trees, came into existence. The Uchiha’s chakra was then used as a reserve by the God Tree. As fans eagerly await the series’ major plot phase, the uncertain fate of Sasuke has left them wondering if their beloved character will make a comeback.

Despite Sasuke’s current life status not being deceased, there is still a ray of hope. This is because he could potentially return even stronger than before, with the possibility of his body being healed due to his connection to the Ten-tails. Furthermore, his return could result in a situation similar to Naruto’s Baryon mode, where he may permanently lose his Sharingan.

Sasuke Uchiha is a supporting character in the Naruto series and a secondary protagonist in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex. He is the parent of Sarda Uchiha, one of the main protagonists in the latter series, and the comrade of Boruto Uzumaki, the main protagonist in the same series.

Following the conclusion of the Naruto series, Sasuke departed from the village and embarked on a quest to uncover information about the Otsutsuki clan. His journey eventually led him to encounter Momoshiki and Kinshiki Otsutsuki, who proceeded to launch an attack on the Hidden Leaf Village in an attempt to seize the Nine-tails fox from Naruto Uzumaki. Their goal was to harness its chakra for the creation of the chakra fruit.

Fortunately, thanks to the combined efforts of each Kage and Boruto Uzumaki, Naruto’s son, they were able to defeat Momoshiki. Following the battle, the Otsutsuki implanted themselves into Boruto through the karma seal, in hopes of one day being reborn.

Regrettably, yet another Otsutsuki emerged who shared the same desire to be reincarnated within the human vessel of Isshiki Otsutsuki. He targeted Kawaki as his host, but Naruto intervened and protected him. In a subsequent battle with this Otsutsuki, Momoshiki took control of Boruto and used him to pierce Sasuke’s rinnegan.

Thankfully, Naruto managed to emerge victorious against Isshiki by tapping into his newly acquired Baryon mode. However, the cost of this transformation was the sacrifice of Kurama. In the subsequent chapters, Eida utilized her power of Omnipotence on Kawaki, ultimately replacing his identity with Boruto and solidifying Boruto as the outsider.

Similarly to others, Sasuke was impacted by Omnipotence, yet he noticed a peculiar feeling when his daughter opposed the event. As a result, he made the decision to pass down all of his knowledge and techniques to Boruto during the four-year timeskip in the series.

In Boruto: Two Blue Vortex, Boruto made a return to the Hidden Leaf Village and delivered the shocking revelation of Sasuke’s transformation into a chakra tree. Following their training, they were faced with a horde of Claw Grimes, prompting Sasuke to instruct Boruto to protect Sarada and make his escape.

Since Sasuke’s departure, Hidari has taken on the form of one of the God Trees created by the emergence of the Ten-tails. He now utilizes the chakra of the Uchiha clan as his source of power. Despite fans’ longing for Sasuke’s return, there is currently no indication of his whereabouts. Meanwhile, Boruto is researching the God Trees in hopes of finding a way to reverse the transformation of those who were turned into chakra trees.

Even in Naruto, fans will recall the Ten-tails’ remarkable healing powers, demonstrated during Madara and Guy’s battle. Despite having his lower body destroyed, Madara quickly regenerated. Now that Sasuke is linked to the Ten-tails, he may also experience similar healing if he returns in the future.

Despite losing his hand in the final battle against Naruto and his Rinnegan in the fight against Boruto while under Momoshiki’s control, Sasuke’s injuries could be healed thanks to the ten-tails’ powerful healing abilities. With this, he could potentially regain the same strength and power he possessed in the Naruto series, allowing him to overpower Code and his followers.

Additionally, this could provide Sasuke with an alternative to his Baryon mode, allowing him to deal the final blow to one of his enemies, whether it be a member of the Otsutsuki clan or Code. However, the question remains, how will he accomplish this?

It is possible that the solution lies in a jutsu technique similar to Izanagi or Izanami, where the user must sacrifice their Kekkei Genkai, like with the Baryon mode. In Sasuke’s situation, this would mean permanently losing either his Sharingan or Rinnegan, as his Rinnegan is able to heal itself upon his return.
