On July 15th, Natty shared on the fan communication platform Bubble that she and NewJeans have been frequently running into each other at music shows. They have grown fond of each other and often exchange screams and heart emojis whenever they pass by each other.
She recounted, “During our wait, they expressed their fondness for us and shared that our song had been stuck in their minds, filling me with immense pride. They were like precious dolls, all so endearing.”
A fan playfully called out for a challenge between KISS OF LIFE and NewJeans, to which Natty responded with a witty comment, “Sorry, but our dolls are not programmed to shake their butts.”This caused the audience to burst into laughter.
Fans from both fan bases responded with remarks such as “Even Natty was once a child, but now she’s a big sister,””The songs of both artists are amazing, I would love to witness a collaboration,””It’s like one doll calling another doll a doll,”and “It’s interesting to see their closeness despite their contrasting styles.”
In the meantime, KISS OF LIFE, led by Natty, has been steadily rising up the local music charts with their latest hit, “Sticky”, which has now entered the top 10. Additionally, NewJeans successfully debuted in Japan with their song “Supernatural”and made appearances on domestic music shows from July 12th to 14th.
