Last March, Ko Hyun-jung’s debut on her first SNS account made headlines. Kang Min-kyung surprised fans by announcing their unexpected friendship through her own account. In addition, Kang Min-kyung shared a handwritten letter from Ko Hyun-jung expressing her admiration for Min-kyung’s ability to break stereotypes and bring brightness even to those who dislike sunlight and high-pitched tones. Quoting poet Lee Seong-bok, Ko Hyun-jung wrote, “Our suffering couldn’t even make a leaf green. Watching you, even for a short time, makes me want to live brightly.”

Afterward, Ko Hyun-jung shared a video on her YouTube channel documenting her reunion with Kang Min-kyung and Jung Jae-hyung. In the video, Ko Hyun-jung expressed her gratitude towards the two, saying, “I am grateful to have reunited with Oppa (Jung Jae-hyung) and Min-kyung. They were the only ones I saw for a while and I leaned on them to help me get out of my shell. I am thankful for their support and took it one step at a time with their help, showing my deep affection for them.”

Meanwhile, Ko Hyun-jung is slated to make an appearance in the upcoming ENA drama “The Night the Stars Shine (working title)”which is set to be broadcast later this year.
